In most cases, in stock orders will ship within 24 hours or by the end of the next business day.

While we stock the most popular flagpoles, some flagpoles may require special order which may delay

shipment. A customer service representative will contact you if there will be any delay in your order.

How do you ship orders?

Smaller items are shipped by UPS ground, USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class. Flagpoles, other

than telescoping, are shipped by LTL (less than a truck load) Carriers. Telescoping flagpoles ship by UPS

Ground.

Do you provide expedited shipping services?

Yes, we can ship Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air and 3 Day select on all items except for flagpoles that must be

shipped by LTL Carriers. There is an additional charge for expedited services. Please call customer service

for more information.

Will I receive tracking information on my shipment(s)?

Yes, we will email the tracking information on your order to you either directly or through the shipping company.

Why are 30' and 35' aluminum flagpoles available in 1 and 2 piece?

Due to limitations on the length of freight, most carriers are unable to haul freight longer than 27'. In an effort to reduce shipping costs, we offer 30' and 35' aluminum flagpoles in 2 pieces. While 1 piece flagpoles are available in these heights, there is a limited delivery area, customers outside of this area will require an additional surcharge. Please contact customer service for more information.

Will someone need to be present to accept delivery of my flagpole?

Yes, the carrier will require an adult signature to accept the delivery and condition of the goods. We

recommend that each item listed on the bill of laden is inspected for damage and that all items are

accounted for. Any damage or shortage MUST be noted on the BOL at the time of delivery.

My flagpole arrived damaged, what should I do?

If the damage is severe (ie. bent, deeply scratched, dented or crushed) refuse delivery and note the

damage to the driver. Some carriers may allow only the damaged item to be refused, others will require

the entire shipment to be refused. Please call customer service to inform them the shipment was refused

due to damage so we can go to work on a replacement.

How does my new flagpole need to be stored until it's ready to be installed?

Your flagpole was shipped in a hard fiber tube and wrapped in paper to protect it from damage during

shipping. Once the flagpole has arrived, we strongly recommend that it is removed from the shipping

tube and completely unwrapped to prevent staining that can occur if the wrappings become wet or damp.

Once the wrappings are removed the flagpole may stored outdoors. We suggest that if the shaft is be

stored outdoors, that it's elevated off the ground with one side higher than the other to allow water to run off.

What size flag should I fly on my flagpole?

The rule of thumb is the height of the flag should be 1/5th the exposed height of the flagpole.

Example: for a 20' flagpole, the flag size would be 4' x 6'. There are no rules that state a flag must be a certain

size for a given flagpole, but we advise caution when flying flags that are oversize, as failure of the flagpole

may occur causing property damage or injury.

Can I fly a second flag on my flagpole?

Absolutely, you'll need an extra set of snaps to attach the second flag. Please keep in mind that a second flag

will add additional stress on the flagpole. We recommend cutting back on the flag sizes as a precaution and

removing flags in inclement weather to prevent damage.

How long does a flag last?

There isn't an exact answer to this question since many factors contribute to flag wear. How long a flag is flown,

the material it's made from, the weather as well as environmental issues all play a role in how long a flag lasts.

Most customers can expect 6-12 months life from a flag that is flown 24 hours a day through all types of weather.

Keep in mind that removing your flag during inclement weather can almost double the life of a flag. One other

important thing to note is, larger flags wear faster than smaller ones, so if your not getting the life you are looking for, cutting back on the size of the flag may be an option.

Can a flag be repaired?

In most cases, Yes. We even offer repair service, however, it is only cost effective on larger flags. There are 2 major factors that can determine if a flag can be repaired; Will it look square and has it dry rotted. Any flag where the stripes will be equal in length to the blue field or shorter, is not repairable.
